We at Gesund Partners are more than pleased to welcome Sukhmeet Panesar to the team! Dr. Panesar will share his time between NHS, Gesund Partners and his project-based assignments in Africa and around the globe.

Sukhmeet Panesar (Suki) trained as a doctor in emergency medicine and public health in London and has developed a unique set of skills for a clinician in the domains of management consultancy, health policy and academia, all at senior level. Furthermore, he has published widely in the field of health services research specifically patient safety and health system redesign (200+ publications).

He has worked for prestigious consultancy houses such as EY and Accenture where his work has focussed on the national programme for designing new care models. These models laid the foundation for future integrated care systems, and some elements of the national programme such as evaluation and digital collaboration have been viewed as exemplary.

He has also been the chief clinical safety officer for deploying national solutions such as NHS Mail (vendor side). In his current role, he leads digital transformation, strategy and development across a large group of 270+ individuals aggregated together from NHS England and NHS Improvement into one of the largest Data, Analysis and Intelligence Service (DAIS) teams whose purpose is to support integrated care systems deliver population health management initiatives.
